Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs for extra juiciness)
  • 3 tablespoons Fruity Hot Sauce by Roaring Sauces (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (or lime juice)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for cooking)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional, for extra glaze richness)
  • Chopped fresh green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Glaze:
In a small bowl, whisk together Fruity Hot Sauce, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.

  2. Cook the Chicken:

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add the chicken and sear for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
    • Lower heat to medium, cover, and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes (or until internal temp reaches 165°F).
  3. Glaze the Chicken:

    • Reduce heat to low.
    • Pour the Fruity Hot Sauce glaze over the chicken, spooning it over the top.
    • Simmer for 2-3 minutes, letting the sauce thicken and coat the chicken evenly.
    • Add butter (if using) and stir to create a richer glaze.
  4. Serve & Garnish:

    • Remove from heat and let rest for 2 minutes.
    • Garnish with chopped cilantro, green onions, and sesame seeds.
    • Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
